The number 7 carries a lot of weight... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7_(number) Wikipedia breaks it down nicely if you are not familiar with what I am talking about.
7 is a significant number for many known reasons to all mankind, but only a small niche of mankind know Nicki and Sumair. I have known them for two years and could not ask for kinder or more thoughtful friends. They recently celebrated their 7th anniversary of dating and were married twice over this past weekend in the Hindu and Catholic faiths (both recognize 7 as a significant number).
My gift to them was a sculpture named 7 and inspired by their foundation of 7 years together before their permanent union. Sumair once said that one they get married, that their lives wouldn't really change. That they wouldn't really be or feel any different than before they were married. This sculpture is about that...and even if you turn their relationship upside down, it will still stand!

I would love to see your studio when I visit next week. You will need to tell me where the sculpture is located on display too. Robin
I love this sculpture dusty. I am so proud of you and the fact that you are making your sculpting dream a reality. You are doing an awesome job!
